Riesling

Angels’ Rest

Made in the traditional German style with some residual sugar that is balanced by the natural high acidity of the Riesling grape. Rarely grown in Virginia, this wine is in a class of its own. Serve chilled.

Country Gentleman White

Another rendering of the Riesling grape done in the German style: some residual sugar balanced by acidity.  This is a blend of different lots of Riesling.

Mountain White

The Riesling grape fermented completely dry.

Pinot Noir

Springdale Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir takes on a distinctive character based on the local terroir.  In the Southwest Virginia mountains, it produces a robust wine with deep ruby color and hints of cherry flavors. Springdale Pinot Noir is a very firm, bold, dry red wine.

NRV Pinot Noir

Illustrates the difference when grapes are grown in a different terroir.  Dry red wine.  This wine is made from grapes grown at a remote vineyard beside our house in Pulaski County.

Country Gentleman Red

Our Country Gentleman Red is made from the same grapes as our flagship Springdale Pinot Noir but in a softer, rounder style.  Dry.

Country Lady Red

The Pinot grape is processed without skin contact and is known throughout the wine world as a “blanc de noir” wine.  Golden in color, this wine is flowery and full-flavored.
