Everything, from the planting of grapes, to the picking, pressing, wine making and bottling are done right here in Giles! They grow only two grape varieties; Riesling and Pinot Noir. Riesling is considered to be one of the world's premier white wine grapes, and likewise for Pinot Noir as a red wine grape. The Riesling grapes are used to make a traditional German-style dessert wine. That means it is a low alcohol wine containing natural sugar. But the sweetness is balanced by the high acidity of the Riesling grape, resulting in a truly remarkable taste experience. Pinot Noir is the grape of Burgundy fame. At JBR Vineyards, it produces a robust, dry red wine with hints of cherry flavors. The local terroir gives it a unique character. Come and enjoy!
